30 minute combo class held once a week - For boys and girls alike who are ready for the fun of moving and grooving but not quite ready for 45 minute classes or have some anxiety about separating from their adult. First half includes exploring movement and our world through pretend, movement, music, & props. Second half includes more pretend, music, crawling, tumbling, & rolling with tumble mats, props, and equipment. Perfect for building skills such as coordination, musicality, sharing, taking turns, cooperation, following direction, creative movement, & strength. Parents/Guardians encouraged to participate by sitting with or dancing/spotting the itsy bitsies! Student will perform 2-3 dances that has been learned in class and will then do 2 rounds of tumble during the Pre-Show Itsy Bitsy Demonstration for Recital (an adult will join them on stage or the side of the stage).Click here to edit text

Ballet, Tap, Tumbling Combination Classes for boys and girls ages 3 (potty trained) to 6.
Teeny Tot 3 & 4 year olds: 45 minute combination class held once a week - Learning by pretending while singing and dancing. Students learn the basic movements of tap and ballet, gradually introduced to the terminology. 15 minutes of tumble time on tumble mats. Classes build skills such as coordination, musicality, sharing, taking turns, cooperation, following direction, creative movement. Students will perform one tap and one ballet dance at recital.
Little Bit 4 & 5 year olds: 60 minute combo class held once a week - plenty of learning through pretend with progression skills! We focus on terminology, body awareness, musicality, formations, partner work, as well as allowing creative exploration for little growing minds! Students will perform one tap and one ballet dance at recital.
Missy 5 & 6 year olds: 60 minute combination class held once a week - An exciting class full of basic ballet and tap which transitions from learning by pretending to focused more on terminology, technique, musicality and counting, and more slightly complicated formations & partner work while still in a fun creative atmosphere still singing and pretending for visual references. Students will perform one tap and one ballet dance at recital.
Petite 6-7 Year Olds -: Every young dancer is excited about their first year in Jazz and now they can get a piece of the fun NOW!! For those mature 6 year olds and 1st year 7 year olds, this class is meant to bridge the gap between 5&6 year olds and Level classes! Includes some props and pretending while encouraging dancers to execute technique, learn terminology, and express emotions through choreography so they are ready to take the big leap to Level classes next time! Students will perform one tap and one ballet dance at recital. Sometimes we combine our pre-jazz in our ballet dance and sometimes they perform a separate pre-jazz dance at recital.
We have 5 levels of these combination classes which all focus in teaching correct terminology, placement, execution while providing fun through music, games, and social interaction. All Level dances perform one ballet, one jazz, and one tap dance at recital.
Placement in these classes are decided upon by Ms. Angie using age AND skill level based on the previous year or summer classes.
Level I - Students ages usually 7 to 11 yr old 1.5 Hour combo class. Lessons include basic ballet, basic tap, and basic Jazz as well as some basic hip-hop.
Level II - Students ages usually 8 to 13yr old 2 hour class. Lessons include pre/intermediate ballet, tap, and jazz as well as some basic lyrical and hip-hop.
Level III - Students ages usually 9 and up. Lessons include basic to intermediate ballet, tap, and jazz as well as some basic lyrical and hip-hop.
Level IV - Students ages usually 12 and up 2 hour class. It includes intermediate to pre-advanced ballet, tap, jazz, some lyrical, and hip-hop. Beginning pointe for approved students.
Level V - Students ages usually 14 to 21 yr old 2 hour class. Lessons include advanced ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, pointe, ect. ***THIS CLASS IS NOT AVAILABLE ON THE CURRENT 2022-23 SCHEDULE
While Acro and gymnastics are similar, we offer acro dance classes which combine both classical dance technique and balance, limber, and tumble skills. We offer these as individual stand-alone classes OR as an extra class to enhance dancers skill sets. Introduction and Basic acro classes held with tumble mats and are offered for boys and girls students ages 5 and older. Intermediate, Advanced, and Elite acro classes are held with a raised semi-sprung dance floor and carpet panels available for use. Placement in classes are decided upon by Ms. Angie using age AND skill level based. Students in these classes perform one acro dance at recital.
Mini Introduction to Acro: For Beginner 3-9 year olds floor tumbling building basic skill level balance, limber, and tumble skills. Our goals are rolls, cartwheels, balance skills like handstands, headstands, elbow stands, bridges, arching back, kicking over, limbers, and putting those skills together in passes, combinations.
Mini Basic Acro: For Experienced Age 4-9 - For students who have previous experience with basic skills. Our goals are rolls, cartwheels, balance skills like handstands, headstands, elbow stands, bridges, arching back, kicking over, limbers, and putting those skills together in passes, combinations.
The difference in Mini vs Junior: The mini & jr titles are based on age and other classes the student may be enrolled in. Students who are in the Teeny/Little/Missy/Petite/Hippy/Hippety classes should register for a Mini Acro and those enrolled in a Level Ballet Tap Jazz or Basic/Intermediate Hip Hop should register for a Junior class. It keeps students dances in the same recital or same recital Act.
Junior Introduction to Acro: For Beginners Ages 7 and up. Floor tumbling basic skill level balance, limber, and tumble skills. Our goals are rolls, cartwheels, balance skills like handstands, headstands, elbow stands, bridges, arching back, kicking over, limbers, and putting those skills together in passes, combinations.
Junior Basic Acro: For Ages 7 and floor tumbling building basic skill level balance, limber, and tumble skill working towards the intermediate level. Our goals are rolls, cartwheels, balance skills like handstands, headstands, elbow stands, bridges, arching back, kicking over, limbers, and putting those skills together in passes, combinations.
Junior Intermediate Acro: For Experienced students 7 and up who have already mastered basic skills focused on clean limber and balance skill & beginning handspring skills. Students are required to have a clean rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and front and back limber as we will focus on moving to walk over's and adding variations of the balance, limber, and tumble skills previously mastered. We will work on aerial's and back handsprings in this class as long as the student is showing the proper strength and control necessary.
Junior Advanced Acro: For experienced students age 7 and up who have already mastered intermediate skills and are ready to focus on advanced aerial, tumble, limber, & balance work. Students are required to have clean rolls, handstands, cartwheels on both sides, front and back limbers, as well as front and back walk overs as we will focus on variations of those skills as well as aerial's and back handsprings.
Junior Elite Acro: For experienced students age 7 and up who have already mastered intermediate skills and are ready to focus on advanced aerial, tumble, limber, & balance work. This class is not always offered. We add it when necessary. ***THIS CLASS IS NOT AVAILABLE ON THE CURRENT 2021-22 SCHEDULE
NON-RECITAL ACRO
Curriculum for the non-recital acro classes are adjusted based off of the abilities of the students enrolled and their progress. Less emphasis is placed on performance acro dance, but more emphasis is placed on building individual strengths and tricks. Students who are already enrolled in acro may enroll in these classes to get additional mat time. Students may enroll in this class independent of other classes, as a stand alone class. Students will not perform in recital for this class. See the descriptions above for level details. ***THIS CLASS IS NOT AVAILABLE ON THE CURRENT 2022-23 SCHEDULE
All Level dance classes have the options to take extra classes. None of these classes may be taken as a primary class.
Lyrical/Contemporary Basic: For students enrolled in a level class age 7 and up. Expands upon the Jazz and Ballet forms of dance but emphasis remains on the emotional expression of the music or lyrics or exploration of contemporary movement, which allows for the breaking of usual classical ballet and jazz norms This class will spend time on technique as well as allowing room for students own personal expression.

Pre-Pointe - By Invitation only for ages 9 and up who have had a minimum of 2 years of ballet and have been recommended by a teacher - focused on ankle, leg, and core strengthening in and whole body technique in preparation for pointe work. May require pre-pointe shoes.
Pointe - By teacher invitation: Requires a minimum of 2 years in ballet, we recommend a year in pre-pointe, and invitation only valid after class evaluation of knowledge, placement, execution, and strength/flexibility - Ballet work in pointe shoe.
Hippy Hop - For students ages 3-5. A half hour class jam packed with age appropriate hip hop music that introduces basic moves through creative dance and play. We will learn fun terminology, how to count music, learn to isolate body parts and find our express our funky divas in a fun and safe environment!
Hippety Hop - For students age 5+. A 45 minute class bursting with age appropriate hip hop music and moves. We will learn fun terminology, how to count music, and especially the isolation, popping, and shaking that so important to hip hop in a fun and safe environment! Can be taken as a stand alone class or in addition to a dance or tumble class.
Hip Hop Basic and Intermediate : For Beginner to Intermediate Students age 7 and up. Can be taken along with a level class, acro class, or as a stand alone class. A 45 minute class that focuses on urban hip hop music and movement including isolation, illusions, popping, shaking, footwork, and floor work associated with pop culture hip hop. We will make it our priority to keep music and movements age appropriate while navigating this modern hip hop movement!
Hip Hop Advanced: For Intermediate to Advanced Students. Can be taken along with a level class, acro class, or as a stand alone class. A 45 minute class that focuses on urban hip hop music and movement including isolation, illusions, popping, shaking, footwork, and floor work associated with pop culture hip hop. We will make it our priority to keep music and movements age appropriate while navigating this modern hip hop movement!
HEALTH POLICIES & PRECAUTIONS
-We still recommend students be dropped off and picked up using the drive-thru to avoid crowding the lobby.
-Students encouraged to wash or sanitize their hands
entering and exiting as well as when sharing props or doing partner work.
-Students must not wear class shoes outside the studio. They should wear outside shoes for entering and exiting the lobby to the parking lot or drive thru and They will leave their outside
shoes in the lobby and put on their class shoes once they have entered the
studio rooms. exchange them for their class shoes in the lobby. We highly recommend slip on shoes for entering and exiting.
-We ask that you do not send students back to class after any illness until they see significant symptom improvement, have been fever free for at least 24 hours and to follow all CDC guidelines for any contagious illness or infection.
